Weekly Summary 17-11-14

1) This week the company has been working on the beginning sequence as the original one was not look as professional and polished as it should so we changed it!
We created a whole new opening sequence by all dividing into separate groups and coming up with ideas and using them all to create a opening sequence much more polished, logical and fitting to the music. I think the best idea was the idea of Meg's group because they came up with using shapes created by us to create Christopher's mind  as he loves maths and one major aspect of A level mathematics is shapes and according formulas.
2) One activity we did that made me understand the play and develop my own acting skills was when we had to create a walk for our characters. This helped because it made me feel as if I understood my characters life and back story more as I had to consider things like this to create a walk.
3)I researched Aspergers this week in more depth to understand traits that is caused in people.

People with Aspergers syndrome sometimes find it difficult to express themselves emotionally and socially. For example, they may:
  1. have difficulty understanding gestures, facial expressions or tone of voice
  2. have difficulty knowing when to start or end a conversation and choosing topics to talk about
  3. use complex words and phrases but may not fully understand what they mean
  4. be very literal in what they say and can have difficulty understanding jokes, metaphor and sarcasm. For example, a person with Aspergers syndrome may be confused by the phrase 'That's cool' when people use it to say something is good. To help a person with Aspergers syndrome understand you, keep your sentences short - be clear and conciseSource of traits!
